Spanish airports are always innovating. What a better way to do that than by helping the environment to become less polluted.

Nowadays the electric vehicles are the better way to help the environment. The way spanish airports are enhacing this type of vehicle is by showing them to the thousands of people who travel everyday.

In total, the spanish airports company has bought 50 electric vehicles to renovate the transport inside the airports. There are ten of them are in Madrid Airport (check Madrid Airport information): cars and vans will improve the luggage transport and the airport staff transport (airplane technicians, luggage handlers, aircraft crew).

These type of vehicles are very expensive, however in the long-term not only will they prove cost effective for the airpot itself, they are also helping to reduce pollution.
